Bore Da/’ Mornin’ or Pnawn Da' afternoon!
Originally from the West Country, I moved to Wales 35 years ago and never looked back. I love my adopted country and have raised two Welsh-speaking kids here. Let me look after your group I love showing off my Wales to all types of visitors - from academics to hikers. Join me! As to specialties, I come from a rural background and have spent 30 years working as a qualified mountain leader so I love doing tours of the countryside whether in a coach or on foot. But I also have a history degree and became a Wales Tourist guide in 2000 and a West Country guide in 2018. have worked for Cadw, Visit Wales and local councils interpreting local historical sites and planning itineraries so that they are accurate but fun! Educational & Entertaining Being long in the tooth and also self-employed for many years, I have worked on many events and projects so with me you get the mixture of a lot of experience but flexibility and the belief that the clients’ brief counts! I project-managed the official opening of the Wales Coast Path and have planned and led many press trips and tour operator visits. I have worked with individual clients and full coaches both for a few hours or for over a week. Book me and you’ll go away knowing more about Wales than when you arrived but also feeling happy and entertained. There’s a posh Welsh word for fare-you-well but round about here we say ta ta – see you soon! |
